2010 WOODEN BOAT FESTIVAL

Dear Vendor:

Our annual Wooden Boat Festival will be held on Saturday, July 17, 2010, from 9 am to 5 pm, at Huddy Park, Toms River, New Jersey. This is a one day event. Flea markets, artists, music, and food vendors are invited to reserve space.

The Festival draws about 5,000 spectators, families and boating enthusiasts from New Jersey and neighboring states. The event is well advertised through press releases, radio, TV promos, posters, as well as notices in local, national and regional publications. We are again sharing the day with the NJ State Ice Cream Festival, held on Washington Street, one block from Huddy Park. This festival draws up to 8,000 people.

We are requesting art and merchandise be maritime related. This “Marine Art-in-the-Port” theme, links marine art with the artistry of model boat construction and the artistry of restoring full scale antique and classic boats. Marine artwork can include scenes of the beach, seashells, water, docks, fish, boardwalks, boats, etc.

Vendor space is by invitation only to ensure the best exposure for your business. Only trades and merchandise of nautical or marine theme are accepted. Vendor spaces are outside plus limited space under the roof of the gazebo. Bring your own tent if you wish. Ample free parking is adjacent to the festival grounds. Security will be provided on Friday night from 6 pm to 7 am Saturday. Setups are on Friday, from 2 to 5 pm, Saturday from 7 am to 9 am.

In order to guarantee space, please return the completed Application/Contract form, with your check as soon as possible. Application/Contracts are also available on our website.
